New Site Design and System

After the Codexplorer beta I posted a couple months ago I finally was able to get a stable version (with the features) up and running. This is site is now powered by CX v9.7 and Mootools. I am trying to find time to finish this system (somewhat) so that I can package it before I move on to re-building it for the CodeIgniter system.

The cool new theme is called “forestdepths”. I had designed it about 2 years ago back when I first started on CodeXplorer and have been waiting for the day when the system would be complete.

Sadly there are many more features that have never made it out of beta. But a few of the features like the Ajax loading made it. The Ajax on this site down grades to plain HTTP requests if there are any problems - and I hope to get my down-grading CSS and content working too.

Anyway, I am just trying to figure out where to go from here. I am happy to finally have an almost-working blog to record my adventures from this point on.

David, I am a Jesus enthusiest, and you have some nice work here, I read your comment about evolution, where you said they say man evolved from apes, and said Have you told your child he was an ape.

Coming from is different than is.

I believe God did it all, but maybe Genesis chapter one is a metaphor. Salvation is not dependant upon a belief that Genesis 1 is not metaphorical, after all Revelation is.

Once you believe Genesis chapter one is metaphorical, then you can leave behind the arguements for creation-evolution and just say God did it, and let the scientists say how he did it. The atheists and scientists can never prove God did not do it. If they say it was random chance, then God was very awesome to be able to create something as powerful as random chance. The main message of course is everything after Genesis chapter 1

However, God did not use evolution - they are in complete contrast. To suggest that they worked "together" shows a lack of understanding of both concepts. The God that would use evolution would be 1) Cruel 2) Retarded and 3) Wasteful. The whole process of natural chance and selection is the slowest and dumbest of possible processes - in that it would require many deaths to achieve a correct result.

Why anyone would want to take a perfect theory like creation (which as never been proven wrong) and mix it with a faulty theory like evolution (which has never been proven right)?

I know this might be a late reply, but Genesis 1 is not metamorphical. Later in Exodus 20:11, Moses writes the creation of the earth as 6 days. Obviously, he meant 6 literal, human days. God created man in His image, Gods image did not grow in him through time. To say that a man was first a monkey or a ramathipica is to say God functioned like these animal-like creatures.
