They were praying and fasting because when the Lord warns you there is time to seek the Lord’s face. If He warns you of future things to come, of any danger, then that’s the time to really fast and pray and seek the will of the Lord for His further instruction. - Boris Sorokovsky
For a while it seemed like that might be good enough, but programmers were complaining. “Look at all those zeros!” they said, since they were Americans and they were looking at English text which rarely used code points above U+00FF. Also they were liberal hippies in California who wanted to conserve (sneer). If they were Texans they wouldn’t have minded guzzling twice the number of bytes. But those Californian wimps couldn’t bear the idea of doubling the amount of storage it took for strings - Joel Spolsky

I don’t have a problem with Dreamweaver per se, and I still use it (although I’m constantly looking for a suitable alternative) but I strongly believe that using the WYSWYG interface for design inhibits good designers from realizing their full potential. I am basically saying that there is too much emphasis placed on designers to have Dreamweaver skills, when the reality is, at least from where I sit, saying you have Dreamweaver skills is essentially admitting you need WYSYWG to design a web page, and that means you’re not comfortable hand coding. - That Web Guy
